Executive Assistant to the Board

Cranbrook Community Theatre Society (CCT) produces live theatre by the community for the community. We are stewards of The Studio/Stage Door, a heritage building.

CCT is seeking a part time contract executive assistant to the board of directors for an average of 16 hours per week, four of which are in the office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to receiving incoming calls and emails, responding to messages, overseeing the management of building rentals, liaise with relevant organizations and clients, process bills or expenses, submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals/projects as assigned and source any local, Provincial or Federal funding and be able to write applications for said grants.

We are seeking someone with minimum of two (2) years’ experience as an Executive Administrative Assistant, Senior Assistant or in other administrative positions. The position also requires full knowledge of office management systems and procedures, exemplary planning and time management skills, ability to be flexible and adaptable to change, current in office technology, and computer software including MC Office, knowledgeable in Web Pages and Facebook updates and preparation of pages for continued CCT presence, ability to multitask and prioritize and demonstrate discretion and confidentiality. Theatre experience would be an asset.
