Cranbrook’s 1st annual Bleeding Tree International Dark Drama Film Festival presents a full slate of ‘dark drama’ films on August 9th, 2024 at the beautifully restored STUDIO STAGE DOOR heritage building in collaboration with Cranbrook Community Theatre.
VIP PASS INCLUDES ALL DRINKS & SNACKS UP TO 4 PER PERSON.
Films range from short, medium, animated and feature-length focused primarily on traumatic and socially pressing issues and how people find resolve (or not) and humanity in the face of it. "Dark drama is a newly emerging genre of film that toes the line between drama and horror, covering formidable personal conflicts like addiction, sexual assault, death, political unrest, and even life-changing accidents." Festival 1/2 : Doors open at 1pm, viewing from 1:30pm to 4:30pm
Concession/washroom breaks approximately every hour.
